PhD in Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, Vice-Rector for Academic and Scientific Work. Researches ways to improve fuel efficiency and environmental performance of locomotive diesel engines. Has over 40 years of experience in engineering, science, and academic management.

Defended his PhD thesis on reducing operational fuel costs by using gas-diesel systems in shunting locomotives. Author of more than 150 scientific and educational works, holder of 22 patents and authorship certificates.

Awarded the honorary title “Distinguished Transport Worker of Ukraine,” as well as distinctions from the Ministry of Education and Science, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, and the Kharkiv Regional Administration. Holder of the “Honored Railwayman” and “Excellence in Education” badges.
